- Introducing Upstate communities to the mentor-driven student entrepreneurship model pioneered by Syracuse University and community/academic partners.
- Promoting the creation of angel funds so that Upstate based startups can find initial investors closer to home. Angel backed investment funds currently active in Upstate New York include the Seed Capital Fund of CNY and Eastern New York Angels.
