The tech startup will be renovating a 44,000 sf fantasy-themed space in downtown Syracuse, complete with a Harry Potter room for creating the company’s next mobile applications. The space will be completed this fall. TCG Player CEO Chedy Hampson says, “Look for the giant dragon head!”
TCG Player connects buyers and sellers of collectable game cards and classic video games. The company was founded by Chedy Hampson. Since 2016, Chedy has grown TCG Player to over 100 people. He now aims to expand to 1,000 employees within the next five years.

Right now, TCG Player has nearly three dozen available career opportunities. Chedy says the first part of the interview process focuses more on a person’s core values, how well they communicate and if they are someone the crew might want to be friends with. “The technical questions come later,” he added.
