Michael Pavia is the President and CEO of Sydor Technologies, providing customers with comprehensive, integrated solutions for ultrafast imaging systems, ballistic and impact testing systems and custom electronics/electro-optics for a variety of applications in energy, defense security and research.
Mike is also a Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Simon Business School at University of Rochester where he teaches how to take a new business concept, analyze its viability and develop a thorough business plan.
In 2014, he was the recipient of the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster Entrepreneurship Award and the Digital Rochester Visionary Leadership Award.
