Serial Exited Founder

Jeff Frankel brings over 35 years of distinguished executive leadership across healthcare, information technology, software development, and business advisory sectors. Throughout his career, he has founded, scaled, and successfully exited multiple businesses, executing four ownership transition strategies for himself and other stakeholders.

At Astria Solutions Group, Jeff and his partners led two high-impact acquisitions in 2007. They acquired and subsequently sold docStar, a national document management software company, to the world’s fifth-largest ERP provider. As Division President of Authentidate Holding Corp., a publicly held leader in telehealth and workflow optimization, Jeff spearheaded a transformative product and business strategy for an e-signature healthcare platform. By securing Medicare acceptance, he drove unprecedented operational efficiencies in the home healthcare sector. He also played a pivotal role in raising over $70 million through a PIPE transaction, enabling strategic partnerships with Medicare, the American Association for Homecare, and the U.S. Postal Service’s electronic postmark (EPM) initiative.

As COO and Partner of Health Focus of NY, LLC., Jeff led 115 professionals in building a leading capital region respiratory and home medical equipment business.  Jeff drove significant EBITDA and valuation growth through strategic acquisitions, operational restructuring, and managed care contracting with major insurers.  Jeff oversaw all corporate operations and positioned the company for successful acquisition by Lincare Holdings, LLC in 2002.

Jeff’s advisory expertise includes tenure as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young, where he provided strategic analysis and M&A advisory to hospitals and healthcare organizations navigating major government-led restructuring in New York State. He is recognized for his dynamic leadership in turnaround, startup, and high-growth ventures, both public and private.
