Currently serving as the Instructional Design Manager at The Tech Garden in Syracuse NY, she is responsible for developing content to address the education and training needs of the high growth, tech client companies. Moriarty started her career in the Syracuse Student Sandbox as a creative social entrepreneur.
While in graduate school at Syracuse University, where she obtained her M.A. in Arts Leadership Administration, she was awarded the Kauffman Entrepreneurship Engagement Fellowship for her arts consultancy and served as an entrepreneurial consultant for the Innovation and Disruptive Entrepreneurship Accelerator (IDEA). In this role she lead a group of 12 student innovators, known as the IDEA Connectors, who worked together to identify and eliminate barriers to and increase engagement with the entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus.
She is a passionate facilitator and supporter of startups, and continues to explore how to best build community around entrepreneurship and innovation.
