On September 14th from 1:00-2:30 pm, come learn what investors are looking for, and the road map to become “investment-ready.” The event is called “Pitching VC Investors” and will be featuring guest speaker, Dennis M. Deleo, founding partner of Trillium. This event will be hosted at the Tech Garden, located on 235 Harrison Street (Syracuse)

On September 15th from 12:00-1:30 pm, Rochester BioVenture Center will be hosting “Angel & Seed-Stage Funding Sources” at the Rochester BioVenture Center Break Room, located at 77 Ridgeland Road.  Early-stage companies, medical device inventors, and medical researchers that are entrepreneurs or considering the development of new business ventures are encouraged to participate. on September 27th from 3:30-5:30 pm,  the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciencest will feature a presentation by the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC), which is announcing a new “Appleseed Fund” for early stage company investment through the Common Retirement Fund’s (CRF) In-State Private Equity Investment Program. Come to the Zebro Room, 701 Ellicott Street and learn from OSC and others how this breakthrough funding will help our state grow its high-tech economy. (Buffalo)
