Christy is a program director and attorney for Disability Rights New York (DRNY). She joined DRNY in 2014 and serves NYS residents with disabilities who face barriers accessing assistive technology and supports and services to manage traumatic brain injuries.
Panelist: Blaise Bryant, Communications and Outreach Associate, Consumer Directed Choices
Blaise is the Communications and Outreach Associate for Consumer Directed Choices, an organization who works with seniors and people with disabilities who want to self-direct their home and personal care. Blaise is also on the board of the Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association. Blaise deals with web accessibility issues on a daily basis as a user of an assistive technology known as screen readers.

Over the course of his career, Dan has worked with hundreds of clients in nearly every vertical, from enterprise level fortune 500 companies to family owned small businesses. Initially working in content creation, Dan quickly dived head first into search engine optimization (SEO), where he acquired extensive experience in website auditing, keyword research, and the finer points of technical SEO. With a masters degree in teaching and prior stints in higher education, Dan emphasizes the importance of ongoing client and colleague education. He will be able to offer actionable steps and resources for website owners concerned with ADA Compliance from a digital strategists’ perspective.
