Self-Development for Women Entrepreneurs: Leveraging Yourself in Business During and after a Pandemic
This series of webinars focuses on your self-development as a businesswoman and business owner. While it is important to focus on the business plan, the financials, and other key aspects of starting and owning a business, the role of the owner in the business is also critical to business success.

As a busy woman in business, you may not make the time needed to think about leveraging yourself in your business. In this series, you will develop practical skills to design your unique plan in three areas: self-care and personal resilience, leading using your strengths and style, and leading others virtually to drive business success. You will participate in break out discussions and begin work on a personal plan that you can modify in each area.

Session Three: Leading an Effective Virtual Team in a Small Business
Business owners/entrepreneurs need to do more meetings virtually than ever before, especially given the coronavirus crisis. This is a new territory for most people. In this workshop, you will learn about some general strategies to keep in mind as well as reflect on your own personal style and preferences for engaging your team members. Key learnings include:

• General principles in leading virtual teams

• Using your own preferences to create an effective team environment virtually

• Identifying the preferences of your team members for virtual teaming

• How to manage a hybrid model for teaming (some in person and some virtual connections)
