Jennifer Tegan | UNY50 Leadership NetworkJennifer has been at the Cayuga Venture Fund for over a decade and serves on the boards of GiveGab, Intrinsiq Materials and True Gault as well as representing CVF as an observer on the boards of Venuebook and Calient. Jennifer previously served as Director of Allworx prior to its sale to Paetec and as board observer of BinOptics prior to its sale in December 2014 to MACOM.

 

Prior to joining CVF, Jennifer served in various senior roles advising and managing small, growing for profit and non for profit businesses including EMF Corporation, a small optical coating manufacturing company, and the Paleontological Research Institution, a science and research based educational organization.

 

Jennifer is currently President of the Upstate Venture Association of New York Board (UVANY) a membership trade organization whose mission is to increase access to capital for entrepreneurs and companies in Upstate NY.

 

She also an active member of the community and serves on the Tompkins Cortland Community College Foundation Board, the Board of Tompkins County Area Development, the Board of Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca and the Advisory Board of the Ithaca College School of Business.

 

Jennifer earned BA and MS degrees in Geology from Smith College and the University of Cincinnati, respectively, and an MBA from Cornell University.
