Jai Ramachandran is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wire 3 LLC, a fiber to the home (FTTH) provider based in both Rochester, NY and Daytona Beach, FL. Founded in 2021, Wire 3 aims to bring 10 Gbps internet speeds to customer on the Atlantic coast of central Florida utilizing a purpose built and wholly owned fiber optic network. Jai has held a variety of leadership roles throughout his career. Jai is dedicated to growing businesses through a variety of client and business development strategies which focus on building value for clients, employees and shareholders alike.
Prior to Wire 3, Jai served as the CEO of Brighton Securities from 2014 to 2021, overseeing an unprecedented period of growth for the respected and locally owned Wealth Management firm. Prior to Brighton Securities, Jai was a Director within the Investment Banking Team at Oppenheimer & Co. executing a variety of financial transactions including buy and sell-side M&A advisory roles, private and public equity and debt capital raises, and general corporate advisory assignments. Prior to Oppenheimer, Jai worked for the Bank Street Group, a boutique investment bank focused on the TMT sector based in Stamford, CT. Jai began his career as one of the earliest employees of American Fiber Systems, a start-up telecom company based in Rochester, NY that built fiber optic networks in a variety of metropolitan markets throughout the United States.
Jai holds an MBA in Finance from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, and a BS in Information Technology from the Golisano School of Computing Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Jai serves on the board for the Small Business Council of Rochester, the Friends of World of Inquiry School, and is an active member of the Rochester Rotary.
