Anthony has worked in technology startups since 1994, initially in Silicon Valley/San Francisco until he relocated to upstate NY with his family in 2006.
He is currently co-founder and managing partner of iFly.com, one of the world’s most popular travel information websites. He also operates Aspen Ridge Consulting in Queensbury, NY, providing go-to-market and product strategy assistance to emerging and growth-oriented technology ventures in NY and beyond.
In 2007, Anthony became the CEO of SportsSignup, joining MapInfo co-founder John Haller to grow the Saratoga-based Sports-tech SaaS business from a team of 3 to 70, with offices in NY, AZ, and Toronto, before its acquisition by Sports Illustrated (Time Inc.) in 2015. Prior to SportsSignup, Anthony held executive leadership roles with venture-funded SaaS & location-based services businesses including Trimble, Novariant, Leica Geosystems, and Vicinity Corporation (through its IPO in 2000 and subsequent acquisition by Microsoft in 2002). He has a B.S. in Spatial Information Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono.
Anthony’s passion lies with early-stage businesses – especially the chaos and uncertainty that comes along with getting “the product” off the launch pad and reaching escape velocity. When the chaos subsides, he can be found yelling “fore left” on hole #14 and staying up ‘till midnight attempting to get a camping reservation on Lake George. He lives in Queensbury with his wife Maura, 3 teenagers, and 2 pups.
