“As a founder and investor, my goal is to bring even more functional expertise and venture capital to startups wherever they choose to call home base.” – Paul Singh
Through his commitment to paying it forward, Paul also travels the nation assisting entrepreneurs, investors and growing startups as part of his North American Tech Tour. Over the past 5 years, Paul has flown 500,000 miles, raised tens of millions of dollars for his venture funds and invested in hundreds of companies around the world.
At Upstate Venture Connect’s request, Paul will tour Upstate, New York the week of Monday, August 15, splitting his time between CNY (Syracuse), the Mohawk Valley (Utica) and the Capital District (Saratoga Springs). While here, he will utilize his extended presence to connect with startup founders and angel investors to get to know the unique aspects of Upstate’s entrepreneurial (tech) culture.
According to Nasir Ali, UVC’s CEO, “Paul is a talented entrepreneur, investor and teacher with unique experience investing in companies around the world. Equally important for us is that Paul lives in the small community of Ashburn, VA, which gives him a unique understanding of how Upstate communities can evolve as startup friendly nodes in our regional ecosystem. UVC and its community partners are proud to host Paul for a week of learning about growing tech companies and investing in promising founders.”
