Upstate Venture Connect, a nonprofit that focuses on creating an entrepreneur-led startup ecosystem for Upstate New York, has launched the inaugural CEO Survey of Upstate NY tech companies, officials announced Wednesday.
The goal of the survey is to learn about the region’s economic footprint and high growth businesses, officials said.
“We realize CEOs are busy people and have therefore created a five-minute confidential survey. The results will give us the first snapshot of what these companies are doing to change our economy and create new job opportunities,” said Nasir Ali, co-founder and CEO of Upstate Venture Connect in a statement. “We want to hear from both investor-backed and bootstrapped companies across the region.”
CGR, a local nonprofit management consulting firm, created the survey and will analyze its data.
The survey is available at uvcdevelopment.wpengine.com/survey.
