Software development firm, Kitware, with offices in NC, NM, ID & France, is consolidating its headquarters in Clifton Park & will expand to 150 employees averaging over $100k/year in wages.

SEDC helped win $1.86M of incentives from the Clifton Park IDA to support Abele Limited Partners building out 40,000 sf of expanded space amidst its mixed-use 57,000 sf building.

Started in Corinth in 1998, Greenfield Manufacturing, Inc. (GMI) is doubling its 2016 investment in expanded, new space in the Grande Industrial Park by another $2.5 million & over 20,000 sf. It will add 7 more employees to its 13 strong advanced manufacturing workforce.

GMI is a specialty chemical manufacturer and services provider to clients like General Electric, Castrol, Dow Chemical, Momentive Performance Materials and many more. Its expansion, to be built by Munter Enterprises, will support continued product innovation, production & packaging to serve its multinational and other clients.
“We know from our history in upstate New York that too many decision-makers led companies to locate elsewhere as national, and international, competition expanded, said Dennis Bronston, President, SEDC. “Supporting homegrown entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and keep headquarters here is key to boosting future investment, job opportunities and keeping wages in our communities,” he added.
