Four companies discuss their progress, future efforts at meetup event
Four companies shared their progress and plans for future ventures at the March 2016 StartUp Tech Valley meet-up event.
Leaders from Windrush, Odd Networks, Lately and Brightboard addressed a standing-room-only crowd at Brown’s Brewing Company‘s Revolution Hall on Wednesday.
Windrush, a Saratoga Springs data visualization company, spoke to the growing need for data among both nonprofits and businesses in the financial sector, while Lately positioned itself as a crucial hub for clients looking to save time and money on marketing.
Odd Networks helps clients manage over-the-top services, a term that indicates video or other media provided online, not on a service provider’s network. Representatives said that the company earned more than $1 million in revenue over the last year, also noting that it’s difficult and risky to launch a new venture. Brightboard, launched by area medical professionals, aims to help surgeons crowdfund and brainstorm new ideas for medical innovations.
