The addition of these experienced leaders will further accelerate company growth in the booming additive manufacturing (AM) market.
PostProcess Technologies, the Buffalo, NY-based company that is the first and only to automate post-printing for the industrial 3D printing market, announced four senior leadership appointments to drive expansion and scalability of Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
In April, PostProcess completed a $4 million seed round, including a $1 million investment from New York Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of Empire State Development, to support its surging customer base.
Bob Bosinski has been appointed Vice President of Operations and brings extensive experience in designing and deploying robust processes and systems to enable rapid expansion. Bosinski spent 24 years with AirSep Corporation from its start-up stage through post-acquisition, managing multiple departments with increasing levels of responsibilities in Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering. “I’m excited for the opportunity at PostProcess and the impact we are making in the AM industry, as well as for the region and the great city of Buffalo,” he commented. Bosinski earned a master’s degree in Industrial Technology from Buffalo State College.
Michael Frauens, Principal Process Development Engineer, joins PostProcess with decades of industrial engineering experience, including with 3D printer manufacturer Stratasys and Eastman Kodak, where he was awarded several patents. Frauens’ material science background and system implementation expertise will allow him to advance the company’s FINISH3D™ lab, where over 500,000 parts have been benchmarked. Michael will implement a platform to transform material data into useful information for development engineering, as well as a recommendation model that enables customers to scale their additive manufacturing operation into high volume production. Frauens earned a master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in System Engineering and Management.
In alignment with capturing the explosive sales demand, Diana Robbins, Director of Marketing, will advance the company’s Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Sales functions. Robbins’ 15-year track record in complex engineering settings is highlighted by implementing marketing strategies that delivered exponential growth. Robbins brings experience in manufacturing and material processing industries, most recently with Harper International and Greatbatch Inc., now Integer, and holds an MBA from University at Buffalo.
Lynda DePetris will lead sales efforts on the West Coast, bringing 25 years of demonstrated success in both small and large multinational organizations including IBM, Microsoft, and most recently with a start-up acquired by Dow Chemical Company. Her background of developing and implementing sales strategies for industrial technologies to achieve profitable growth will ensure PostProcess captures the expansive market opportunity in the Western U.S. DePetris holds an MBA from University at Santa Clara.
“Today’s announcement is another building block in PostProcess’ rapid and transformational journey,” said Jeff Mize, Chief Executive Officer, PostProcess Technologies. “We are excited to add this impressive bench strength to our team, with deep knowledge and skills to further accelerate our mission of unlocking scalable industrial 3D printing. The entire team is extraordinarily passionate and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and in turn revolutionizing the additive manufacturing market.”
