Lucas Lassinger

Biography

Lucas is excited to be the Rochester Startup Community Advocate at UVC.A long time Upstate fanatic, he is excited to connect local founders in the Rochester area to others throughout the UVC network serving as the boots on the ground.

Lucas originally hailed from Jamestown in Western New York and has made his way across the state stopping for his Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering at the University at Buffalo and his Master’s Degree from the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation at the University of Rochester. While at U of R, Lucas caught the startup bug, which led him to Med Dimensions where he works as a product manager using AI Technology and Additive Manufacturing to create patient specific surgical plans. He continues to work with college students because of how much his mentors meant to him.

Outside of work, he is an avid Buffalo Sports fan (Go Bills!), and loves hiking, skiing, and spending summer time back on Chautauqua lake.
