Cindy joined UVC as the Director of Operations in 2024.
Previously, she was the Senior Platform Manager at 43North, where she managed founder requests, co-hosted a podcast, facilitated partnerships, and executed programs such as Fly in a VC and the inaugural Alumni Summit.
Cindy is passionate about supporting founders and creators across New York State. She previously lived in NYC for 12 years, working at a theatrical marketing startup, and later spent over eight years working in fundraising & development at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She enjoys creative writing as well, having been a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop as a lyricist since 2018, and continues to support startups and VCs via copywriting work with her company West 3rd Creative.
Cindy holds an MBA with a focus on Entertainment, Media and Technology from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Theater and BS in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo. An Oswego native, she is excited to be back in Upstate NY, and currently resides in Buffalo with her husband Brian.
