Marc Viggiano is the CEO and Founder of Niteopark and a Member of the Board of Directors at SRC Ventures, Inc.
Marc has over 35 years of experience in the design and development of advanced sensor and communication systems including ground, air and space based radar, air traffic control equipment, medical instrumentation, automatic ID equipment and communication based train control systems, and holds multiple patents in these areas.
In 2014, Marc retired as head of Saab’s Traffic Management business, which provides maritime and aviation traffic management systems to more than 200 airports and seaports around the world.
Before running Saab Traffic Management, he served for two years as CEO of Saab Sensis including global ATM and US Defense Radar businesses.
Prior to Saab, he worked at Sensis for 25 years in a variety of managerial and technical positions, helping to guide it from a seven person startup to a 700 employee company. While at Sensis, he launched the Air Traffic Systems business and served as President for 10 years as it grew to a $100M division focused on improving the safety, capacity and efficiency of civil aviation. In 2011, Viggiano led the effort to sell Sensis to Saab which resulted in a 40X exit for initial Sensis investors.
